A 'Put' bet is a old, rarely used wager that was made on the pass line after the shooter established his point. For example, say you have no bets and the shooter rolls a six, your favorite number. You can then 'put' a bet down on the pass line and take the maximum odds. Oct 12, 2016 A larger amount of money is placed on one or more competitors.
